Welcome Families and Soldiers of the SOD-G!
As always there are many changes that have happened and more to come. There are many new events added. I have tried to break them out by state to make them easier for you to find, but I will also leave a complete list for those of you who don't mind the travel. So please check them out! If you have any news or events you would like to share please feel free to send them to me :)
Jessica and Chris Scales (currently of A Company) ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!! They are due in late January. YYYYEEEAAAHHHH Chris and Jess!!! Chris says that baby girl Scales is VERY busy so congrats are in order!!
I have also posted a ton of pictures for you enjoyment. Most of them are SGM Lewis so PLEASE SEND ME NEW MATERIAL!!!! You can only look at so many golfing pictures. I also posted some new pictures of the four-legged children and we would love to see some of your's so SEND THEM ALONG!!
As some of you may know Col. Keene has retired from his civilian job but he is keeping busy with the DC job. LTC Burns will soon be promoted to Col. and is now our Commanding Officer! Carlson and Chelsea are back from Florida (go to the picture page to see them at the winter formal). I am almost finished with Paramedic School. I have a couple weeks of clinical and field before I apply for the written State Exam. I just finished my Operating Room rotation and I am happy to say that I nailed 15/18 intubations (I passed off 1 without trying the tube because of the airway, I started passing the tube on another but felt resistance (severe neck issues) so I passed off - turns out I was in the cords and the Doc just pushed it through, last one was a real miss =-( Oh well, got back on the horse and got the last one!
Kimberly Parker has taken over the FRG so you may have received your Christmas Card and not recognized the return address. You should have her contact info. since she has sent out a couple emails, but if you don't and would like her contact info. give me a shout and I can send it to you (I just hate to post it on the site because we have not password protected it). I would love your suggestions on the future direction of the site. In the past I have had some interest in a "directory" option where we could look up the phone book information on others in the unit, but this would have to be agreed on and we would definitely need to password protect the site so wandering eyes cannot get our personal info.
If you have any random pictures that you would like to see posted you can also send those to me and barring any unforseen issues with content (I will pass them through our fearless leaders first) they will be added quickly.
Don't forget to check out the "Events" pages. There are TONS of events for us military families. Also I have listed a bunch of Veterans Discounts (some are travel related for those of ours in other states.

I have tried to network with the states our Soldiers and their families reside in but if you get information that you do not see posted and you would like to share just send it to me and I will see it gets posted for you!
